Vibember.
A month of vibe-coding.
Real creativity. Artificial intelligence.
Vibe-code something new every day of November. There's a list of prompts here for daily inspiration - if you need it.
Maybe you use LLMs for coding all day every day. Maybe you're new to them. Or somewhere in between. Wherever you land, this is a chance to flex those creative muscles with vibe coding.
01 / The guidelines
A very loose
definition of rules.
-
01
Make a thing.
Use AI to help you code something each day in November. Big project or small experiment; website, game, software, anything. You bring the idea; the The machine brings its characteristic confidence.
-
02
Follow a prompt. Or don't.
Each day has a suggested theme below. Use it as a starting point, interpret it very loosely, or wander off entirely. It's for inspiration, not homework.
-
03
Show your working.
Share a link, a screenshot, a video, or a small tale of what went wrong. Use #vibember so others can find it. Showing a friend also counts. Your friend has been warned.
-
04
Do it again.
Aim for all 30 days. Every other day or once a week is welcome too. Miss a day? Carry on. This is a creative habit, not a court summons.
02 / The prompts
Thirty starting points.
Zero binding commitments.
One word for each day of November. Take it literally, follow a strange association, or go somewhere else entirely. The word will not be offended.

03 / The FAQs
What can I make?
Create a web page. Or an app. Or a tool. Or a game.
Or an experiment that's just fun. Or cool. Or silly.
Or anything else you can imagine and persuade a computer to do.
Which tools should I use?
Whatever you like. Any AI coding assistant, any language, any framework.
Does it have to be a new project every day?
No. Make a tiny standalone thing, add a feature to a bigger project, or remix something you made earlier. Just make some progress that day. Renaming a folder is technically progress, but you can probably do better.
Where do I post? Is there a prize?
Post wherever you already share things, with #vibember if you'd like to be found. A private demo to a friend counts too. No submissions or prizes - this is just a collection of things that didn't exist in October.
Can I start early/late?
Can I skip a day?
Can I change something?
Why are you asking for permission? This is your project.
Have you considered the environmental impact of encouraging people to use LLMs more?
Yes.
Will super intelligent AI kill us all?
Dunno.
Do I need to know how to code?
lol
